Vintage 80's AC/DC Blow Up Your Video Concert Shirt.
This auction is for a vintage 1988 AC/DC concert raglan. I bought this shirt in summer of 1988 when I saw AC/DC at Castle Farms in Charlevoix, MI for their Blow Up Your Video Tour. Tag says Handtex large, but I'm pretty sure it's more like a medium. Raglan style shirt, black body with white 3/4 sleeves. The white is kind of dingy, but it's still nice and black. It's a true vintage shirt, so it has some flaws as it was worn. Small stain on left front of chest/shoulder in the white area that's about a quarter of an inch and a small stain on the back of the right shoulder. There's also staining on the tops of the shoulders that looks like dust from a hanger. There is also a small pinhole on the front where the black is stitched to the white, up by the neck. The silkscreen is still bright, but has some cracking and the shirt itself is kind of thin, but that's to be expected in a shirt this old. This shirt is single stitched on the bottoms of the sleeves with some stitching right around the edge of the bottom hem. Shirt measures about 18 1/4 inches armpit to armpit and about 21 1/4 to the highest spot on the bottom hem. The bottom hem is longer than that in the front and back, which was common for concert raglans in the 1980's. It hasn't been worn in easily 30 years. It's a great shirt any AC/DC fan would be proud to wear. I'd really like to see this shirt go to somebody who's gonna wear it. Thanks for looking and please check out my other vintage concert shirts. Please pay attention to item description. These are vintage shirts, so what the tag says may not be the actual modern size. That is why I include measurements with photos. The older ones tend to run a bit smaller due to shrinkage and sizes not being quite the same as they were 30 or more years ago.
