UNGER BROS. DAWN SMALLER HAND MIRROR FROM HAIR BRUSH ART NOUVEAU AT ITS FINEST!
You just can’t get much better than Unger Bros. workmanship and I need say nothing more.
This lovely hand mirror started life as a hair brush. It could easily be converted back to a hairbrush if desired and if you have an old brush from a damaged or lesser piece. All the manufacturers used the same size so there really are a lot of them around.
Dawn is one of Unger’s most desirable and collectable patterns.
This piece is in excellent antique condition with very minimal and negligible dings and dents to the body—and I mean very minimal. The top is 100% perfect.
There are 2 tiny splits to each side which were professionally done to remove the brush and insert the mirror.
The mirror is new and clear but not beveled as the originals were.
The side is marked Sterling 925 Fine with UB trademark. There’s also a second mark with the patent date.
At the time of this listing we also have 2 Dawn clothes brushes available in separate auctions. All other Dawn items that might be shown in group pictures have been sold.
