Inspired by Antonio Stradivarius, model Davidov 1712
Built in 2022 by Simon Joseph in Transylvania
A/D/G/C tuning, with Pirastro CHORDA gut strings
This Baroque cello (violoncello) by Simon Joseph will inspire you to play old music like in Bach's time or to play in a Baroque ensemble or even for your music studies.
Selected, naturally dried and beautiful resonance woods that have been seasoned for several years
The top is made of beautifully grained spruce.
The bottom and the rim is made of very beautiful, strongly flamed maple.
All wood surfaces such as the top, back and sides were processed exclusively with scrapers and not with sandpaper.
The very elaborate paintwork was applied by hand in many layers with a brush, following an old Italian paintwork design in old imitation.
The fingerboard is made of solid ebony.
Baroque tailpiece.
Wittner fine tuning pegs for easy tuning.
