Professional Stradivari Model 4/4 Cello, Handmade in Romania, Luthier Dumitru Pop
Made in Romania, in Reghin by Luthier Dumitru Pop who owns a private family business in his hometown and has 30 years of experience in making violins, violas, cellos and double basses and is now followed by his daughtes.
The cello is handmade from Romanian wood (maple and spruce), it is made to standards but any instrument we make can be made to measures and preferences.
The wood used for making this cellos is 8-10 years old and it is a very special flamed maple, rare, and rich in flames as it can be seen, which makes its look special and different; This particular cellos is made from a great maple, with dense flames and great density; it is dried naturally which helps for a greater sound;
The year of construction is 2018 and it has on high quality Thomastik strings;
It is fully equipped with high quality accessories.
It is played for a few years by one of the daughters (who is a cellist) and several professional musicians from the Romanian Orchestras and from Romanian Conservatories. We use this practice in order to develop a better sound on ur instruments. The sound of the cello is amazingly developed in over 2 years, would be perfect for solo or orchestra cellist or advanced student.
The cello has a great sound, very balanced, loud and strong on the low strings and bright and sweet on the high strings.
