Luthier Dumitru Pop
who owns a
private family business in his hometown and has 35 years of experience in
making violins, violas, cellos and double basses
and is now followed by his
daughters.
• The
cello
is handmade from
Carpathian
wood (maple
and spruce), it has a beautifully flamed bottom, straight, clean fiber
in the spruce used for the top which also has a special flame on it, excellent for the harmonics and great sound, curly maple used for the ribs. The wood used is
seasoned for 1

years before use. The
cello
is made to standard
measurements but any instrument we make can be made to measures and preferences
if needed.

and the instrument comes with
a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the violinmaker.
