Pair of Beautiful Vtg Louis XVI Karges Mahogany Twin Bed Headboard - Antique

Up for your consideration is this PAIR of vintage Karges Mahogany Louis the XVI Headboard in Twin Size.  They are in good used condition... very solid but have overall signs of use and a small chip on a corner of the post  on one and a chip on the finial of the other (please see photos). They each measure about 40" wide by 45-1/2" tall by 3" deep. I believe the wood is mahogany. The holes for mounting the bed rails measure a little larger than 5/16" in diameter and are about 37-1/8" apart horizontally from center to center and 2-1/4" apart vertically from center to center.  If you are not familiar with Karges furniture, it is made to order, hand crafted, top quality and was very expensive. Made by skilled craftspeople in Evansville Indiana.  Headboards only... you will have to provide the rails. This sale is for two headboards
