These will very in what you receive . You may not receive the ones in the actual picture . If you have a preference straight or bent send me an email and ill do my best to get what you want.
Cholla wood CAN NOT be cleaned by spraying with water or with an air hose or brushing it takes alot more then that.
They have pieces of excess cactus that does not come off like that , But will come off in your tank,That's why I do what I do to clean these, as I describe below plus more. My cholla wood is very clean .
There are no pesticides on or even near my area
I sell 2 different types of cholla wood one is staghorn and one is teddy bear . The teddy bear is larger in diameter and lighter, staghorn  is smaller in diameter and thicker . This is staghorn it is good food chews . If you take a look at my other auctions you can see the difference
I also have 3" pieces on another auction if you want smaller pieces
I brush these with a brush spray them with air compressor , spray with clear water and boil them to kill anything that might be on them.
I sell these for all sorts of different things even though they are cleaned boiled and washed , sometimes they do still leach brown into water. Before sticking these in a fish tank they still need to be soaked to make sure the brown leach will not come out .So just put them in a bucket of water and let them sit to check before adding to a fish tank to make sure. Everyone says different things ,some say they go right in ,some say soak over night and some say they soak them for several days.
I get these from the desert near me or on my property. They are cactus' that have died no cactus' are harmed . If you have a preference when ordering let me know as in bent , wider opening , smaller opening and I will do my best to pick them. The ones you receive will vary from pictures.
I will be listing different sizes as I get them treated .
I will also be listing very large beautiful log type ones, some with root.
These are used for aquariums, reptiles , birds, rabbits and any other small animal that likes to chew on them. In order for these to sink in water they have to be completely saturated.
They are also used for crafts , lawn art and decorations in your home.
