    Description

Natural Rhodolite Garnet, Excellent Cut and Color, Square, 2.06ct. Shipped with USPS First Class Package.
I cut this beautiful Garnet myself, so the cut is beyond what you can get commercially. It was a beloved hobby.
It's close to the coveted Raspberry color, perhaps leaning just a tad towards browner. But it's an excellent color, and would make a wonderful center stone for a ring with tiny diamonds around it.
I took it to Burton's Gems and Opals on Beach Blvd in Anaheim.  It's one of the oldest gem stores around.
I probably bought the rough for this there, but I wanted them to verify it's a natural Rhodolite.  It's one thing to cut rough  you have in your hand, and another to put your reputation on the line on eBay.
    It's real.
I used google to value it, since I only paid for the rough. There's the information in the last picture.
But what about the really cheap rhodolites on eBay?  Beats me. I'd have to see them in person.  And when you buy those, there's no closeups of the actual stone you end up.  Some are cut with sticks and holes in wood.
If some guy is sitting by a river cutting stone after stone for dirt cheap, maybe you can come up with that price.  But how careful are the providers of the rough actually going to be?  Maybe some Chinese fakes?
Who knows.  Let's face it, gem prices are mostly hype.  There are a few exceptions. Diamonds are not one of the exceptions, those are 90% hype.
This stone was cut by a precision machine, and finished with super find diamond powder on ceramic.
You get the actual stone pictured.  It's 7.4mm square.
