Scarce and highly collectible original vintage program book lavishly produced for American jazz trumpeter and singer
Louis Armstrong’s
December 1964 Japanese tour, with an ensemble that consisted of Russell Moore (trombone), Eddie Shu (clarinet), Billy Kyle (piano), Arvell Shaw (bass), Danny Barcelona (drums), and Jewel Brown (vocals).
Original ticket for the concert on 19th December neatly stuck to the inside front wrapper.
In original pictorial coated wrappers, staple bound, 28.9 x 29.1 cm, 28 pp. All text in Japanese. Light wear to spine and extremities and the staples a little rusty, else in near excellent condition, tightly bound and clean.
