This is a solid piece of beautiful Claro Walnut featuring a burled area as well as wonderful color variation and curling.  It will make a great charcuterie board for a large number of people and is large enough to be used as a coffee table, sofa table or even as a piece of wall art.  This piece measures approximately 51 1/2"long x 16"wide x 1"thick at the widest points.  It has also been finished with a food safe mixture of mineral oil and wax making it great for food contact and light food preparation (Such as cutting cheese or bread).
All of my boards are worked from hand selected kiln dried lumber until they reach nothing less than heirloom quality.  Each piece is unique and is as much a work of art as it is functional. They will require a fresh coat of mineral oil, wax or a mixture of the two from time to time in order to maintain their natural beauty.  There are many finishing options available just be sure whatever you use is FOOD SAFE.  These boards are very durable and after years of heavy use can be sanded down and completely refinished.
