Kaytee Potty Training Tips
1. Observe your pet's instinctive behavior to use one corner of their home as a toilet.
2. Fill a Kaytee Litter Pan with 1.5-2" inches of Critter Litter and place the pan in the corner your pet uses as a toilet. Try placing a small amount of soiled bedding or droppings directly into the litter pan until your pet is fully trained.
3. Remove solid waster from the litter pan on a daily basis and completely replace all of the litter in the litter pan at least once per week.
Start with the right habitat that will be comfortable for your pet.
Add Kaytee Clean & Cozy bedding to the base of the habitat and Critter Litter to the Litter Pan.
Having 2 different types of bedding/litter will help your pet know the difference and where to do their business.
Remember to give your pet plenty of outside the cage time.
