This is a Rare Cello, The Saumer's were known for making Basses so Not Sure how many Hand Crafted Saumer Cellos are out there in the World.
This Cello made its way to the States back in the later 60's and was purchased New from a Heights Houston Music Store in 1972 for 0 by John Helton, who owned its entire life. Helton was life long musician and instructor at the Houston Symphony.
The Sale will Include the Cello, Cello Hard Case, 2x German Bows, and Various Cello Replacement Strings(Kaplan).
The Bows included are Pictured, The Gotz Bow was Purchased with the Cello in 1972 and is also on the same Receipt. The 2nd Bow is Unbranded but in Good Shape and also made in Germany.
The Hard Case appears also to be Original, The Case is in Rough Shape but Still holds and Protects the Cello Adequately.
