    Description

    GORGEOUS ART NOUVEAU STERLING DRESSER SET - 15 PIECES.  This magnificent 15 piece dresser set epitomizes the romance of the art nouveau era.  Circa 1900, it is marked sterling and is hallmarked with a vertical diamond shape that encloses the letter B.  Several companies used similar hallmarks and I believe this one to be the Webster Company  of Attleboro, MA.  This set includes mirror- hair brush- comb--clothes brush -- two pairs of scissors - two manicure tools - fingernail file - toothbrush - hair curler - glove stretcher - shoe spoon - and a button hook.   The larger pieces are engraved with a "
    B".
    The beveled mirror is in good condition.  There are some teeth missing on one end of the comb.  It is most unusual to find 15 pieces of a set still together. The set is charming and in remarkably good condition.  Gorgeous is the only word.
