FINE VICTORIAN STERLING SILVER FANCY REPOUSSE ART NOUVEAU HAND CLOTHES BRUSH

Description

This is an Estate Fresh old Art Nouveau Hand brush or Clothing Brush that is classic Nouveau.  It boasts a super Sterling Silver back with big extra deep typical Art Nouveau
Repousse
Flowers and Bud heads and Filigree, all of this with Deep Heavy Relief or Repousse' work.  Really beautiful.  The handle or Back is marked on one side, Sterling .925.  On the other side which has a small dent there is the marking PAT. Sept 10th '04.   The Brush is just wonderful though and looks like it should be marked S Kirk or some other High quality Silver mfg of the time.  Its relief work is nice and deep and shows its high quality.  The center is an undecorated smooth area for a monogram which looks like "ACK".  The brush is 6.5" long x 2.25" wide and stands on its bristles at over 2" tall overall.
