Fine old German cello (ca. 1900)

Description

Fine German cello early 1900s. LOB is 76cm. “Friedrich Glass Leipzig 1904” handwritten label. Fully restored with some repairs old and some new, which include repaired cracks, button repair, updated setup, and more. All repairs are solid and stable. Very handsome scroll with deep fluting. Fluted ffs. Pirastro Perpetual strings. Akusticus tailpiece. Powerful tone that carries well with an old “oaky” timbre and sustained resonance, clear and responsive with plenty of brilliance.
