The headboard is in excellent condition, with just a couple blemishes, as mentioned below and as shown in up-close pictures.
Blemishes are located in the following areas:
-Near the legs where the bed frame attaches to the headboard
-Scuff marks at mid-height on the right-hand vertical wood slat
-Small scratch at the top of the headboard in one area
-Small chip above wood frame with Ethan Allen tag (this was hidden by our mattress)
-Small chip marks on single wood vertical slat on fifth inner slat from the left
