Great Headlamp
It's a great headlamp. Like my Black Diamond Icon, the weight is distributed with the battery pack being at the back of your head. However, the BioLite is lighter at both the front and the rear. The light weight combined with the reflective accented straps should make it ideal for a night run, although I haven't put this to the test.
The nice thing about the BioLite as compared to most headlamps is that only the light-weight LED panel can be directed down (and almost straight down) without affecting the balance. Most headlamps practically try to roll down off your head under their own weight when you tilt the body down leaving only a small back-plate remaining against your forehead attempting to keep it in place.
Additionally, the light panel makes distinct clicks at various points as the angle is adjusted. There's almost no chance the angle will change of its own accord without human intervention.
The BioLite is quite comfortable. When properly adjusted, you might even forget it's there.
The Optional Light Diffusing Stuffsack can be tricky to use, but does actually work.
The only downside I see so far is that the Red light does not dim. All of the white-light configurations can be dimmed down.

Great Trail Running Headlamp
Like many others, I purchased this through the Kickstarter campaign and got it at the start of December. A trail running group I'm in runs Monday and Wednesday at 5:30pm so mostly all in the dark this time of year. I have been using this since I got it for those runs. I love the light output and usually use the spot beam and dim it just a bit. Many in the group have made comments about it and like the design. I love that it is not front heavy like most headlamps too and headband drys pretty fast too. I sweat very easily and it is soaked after a run and no bad smells from the headband. Very happy with the design and performance for the price.

Fantastic for multiple purposes
Picked up one of these because I’ve enjoyed several other Biolite products over the last few years. This is really versatile, super comfortable, and unlike another reviewer stated, it IS angle-adjustable! (See photo... it adjusts from “straight ahead” to almost “straight down”. Photo shows the “straight down” angle.)
We use it for farm chores and camping.
