Description
This is a premium quality cream or ivory coloured real cattle bone compensated bridge saddle upgrade for an acoustic guitar (fits many 12 string guitars) to replace a standard plastic saddle. This carved bone saddle provides superb acoustic coupling between the strings and body of your guitar, for a rich, full resonant sound. Additionally, if the action on your guitar is a little high, you may sand your new saddle to improve this.1/4 Inch Switched Jack Socket
This bridge saddle is 76mm in length, 3mm in thickness and a maximum of 12.6mm high reducing to 10.8mm. It is carved and shaped to fit most right handed acoustic / folk style guitars. The saddle base (and possibly ends) will require sanding to obtain the correct depth and width to fit your guitar and you should if possible use your old saddle as a template and mark the amount to be sanded off the new bone bridge.
Bear in mind that if you wish to reduce the action of your guitar when fitting the new bridge, you will need to sand the base to reduce the depth of the new bridge not just to that of the old one, but additionally to sand away TWICE the amount of the saddle that you wish to reduce the action to on the 12th fret. So if you want to bring the 12th fret action down by 1mm, sand an additional 2mm away from the base of the new saddle.
Supplied individually. See our other listings for bone and brass bridge pins and bone nuts, also for Piezoelectric crystal bridge pickups for acoustic guitars that give superb results when fitted under a new bone bridge saddle.

Also note that orders sent to Italy may take MUCH longer than eBays estimate to be delivered and, whilst some orders do arrive within a week or two, many orders sent to Italy are not delivered for three or perhaps even four weeks! This is entirely outside our control, as we ship within two working days and once your order is in the hands of Poste Italiane, there is nothing we can do to get it to you any faster.
Please DO NOT send messages with the title "Item not received" as these open complaint cases against us and damage our seller rating! Instead please use the general "Other" heading to ask about your delivery if several weeks have passed.
Lastly, all please note that when eBay asks you "Did the item arrive on or before" their estimated delivery date, it also damages our seller rating if you answer "No", so bear in mind that we always ship within two working days, so if you answer "No" because your local postal service (especially in Italy!) has taken weeks to deliver, you are punishing us, not them!
Thank you all for your kind consideration of the above and remember that we will always do our very best to sort out any problems or questions you may have related to your order if you contact us using the "Contact Seller" and (if the choice is given) "Other" ask a question of seller options.
