Description:
This Mid-Century vintage headboard was found in my late parent’s belongings while clearing the family home. I am quite certain they purchased it in the 1970s, but not sure of its exact age. It might even be from an earlier decade. It is the only
headboard
I recall in their room, so it's definitely vintage.
The headboard measures for a California King bed frame. Online resources state that California King beds are narrower and longer than standard king size beds.
Measurements are as follows:
Height: 49 inches
Length: 76.5 inches
Frame mounting holes are spaced 74.5 inches apart
We hope to find someone who can use this item, as we have no need for this size frame. My dad was very tall, and we are not.
Condition:
It does show signs of normal wear, but appears to be in good and sturdy condition. Due to being stored for some time, it will need a good polishing. There are a couple of Velcro strips attached to the metal that we did not attempt to remove.
Availability Note:
This item will be listed for a limited time. Our next transport date will continue to remain uncertain due to my husband's medical profession, but we are now planning for between mid October and mid December. Once transported it will be placed in storage indefinitely.
