Description:
This headboard was found in my late parent’s belongings while clearing the family home. They purchased it in the 1970s from a local furniture store. The receipt described it as brass antique, which is believed related to the finish. The handwriting on the receipt was difficult to decipher, but one word appears to be Steen. We are uncertain if Steen is the maker, or if it refers to being Dutch in style.
Measurements are as follows:
Height: 48 inches
Length: 54.5 inches at knobs
We hope to find someone locally who can use this very nice headboard. We seriously considered keeping it ourselves, but already have headboards this size belonging to bedroom sets.
Condition:
It does show signs of normal wear, but overall appears to be in good and sturdy condition. Due to being stored for some time, it will need a good polishing.
Availability Note:
This item will be listed for a limited time. Our next transport date will continue to remain uncertain due to my husband's medical profession, but we are now planning for between mid October and mid December. Once transported it will be placed in storage indefinitely.
